I had posted last week about a job possibility in the audiology dept of my clinic. I interviewed on Friday, and the official offer came thru from HR yesterday. I will start around the first of December, and it will increase my pay by a little over a dollar an hour. I'm super excited, but also freaked out. I will basically be the assistant to our audiologist, and my job will be to do whatever he needs to help him free up time to see more pts. He said the goal is for me to increase his contribution to the clinic in a way that will support my position.
I really hope I'm making the right decision taking this job. Where I'm at I am good at what I do, and don't really have any worries about being let go. At least until a decision is made about the dept I'm in now. With this new job it will be totally different than anything I've ever done, and I'm nervous about not doing a good enough job.
