You guys don't get the cool one...I forgot to videotape it. So...it's a...

I was like this all day, calling Sequenom (who REFUSES to give ANY hints WHATSOEVER, and apparently they USED to)

They kept telling me to call my OB. My OB who HATES giving info. And if I call and the results aren't there, I get the lecture about being patient.

So I call, and the clerk says "Hi, Angela, aren't you coming in Monday anyway for an appointment?" I'm all

But I said yes, and she put me on hold.

Here comes the lecture.

But the OB got on the phone and said it was a good thing that I called, because he had just received and signed off on my test results.

The baby tested negative for Trisomy 21, 18, and 13.

I asked if there was enough DNA to figure out the sex, and the OB said there was, indeed. Would I like to know?

And he said,
It's A...

And I said,

And if I wasn't in the car, I'd have looked like this

Because my three year old REALLY wanted a girl, and so did I. DH is REALLY good with little girls but expects too much out of boys and I didn't want to have to shield him my whole life. DH thinks he knows men but he's super in tune to women and I think daughters will benefit (and my stress level will be LOWER!)

Also, I have A TON OF GIRL STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So...put me on Team Pink!!!

What I did for the family gender reveal (DH and kids) I bought a white box and put question mark stickers on it. I filled it with pink candies.

I handed it to DH. He opened it and said "What'd you buy chocolate for?"

I stared.

He held up a gumball and said, "These should be BLUE BALLS!"

And I said "No, actually, they SHOULD BE PINK."

THEN he understood it.

So I taped it back up and gave it to my son. He also didn't get it. "Mmmm, chocolate! Why?"

Men.

My daughter didn't want to know (the older one) but she finally gave in and DH told her...and the baby is thrilled. Whenever we'd refer to the baby as a boy she'd say "But it has to be a GIRL baby or it will be sad!" Now that it's Audra, she's content.

Her opinion was the most important to me. When Audra is 3 Justin will go to college. When she is 6 Sierra will go to college. And from age 6-14 she'll have JUST Jessica. Jess will take more of an interest if it's the same sex.

DH is happier than I thought. Although it's already been brought up twice that maybe we can try again...foot DOWN. NO. Even if we wont the lottery and could hire a nanny. I'm DONE after this. When I'm 58, Audra will go to college and that's STILL ENOUGH TIME FOR ME TO RELAX AND ENJOY RETIREMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy crap, I'm going to have to pay for THREE WEDDINGS.

Yay!! Enjoy your girls Maybe convince a couple of them to elope, though. Weddings are pricey.
