Anyone braving the the crowds this Friday? Or going to the extreme and heading out on Thanksgiving?

I am a black Friday party pooper...part of me wants to go out but I think I will end up staying in the warm and shopping online!

I only shop online. I don't see the appeal of in-person shopping anymore! Especially not on a nightmare day like black friday!

Right....I think last year was ok, but I have seen so many horror stories on the news! I have never done Black Friday shopping. I was always too lazy to get up so early to catch the deals after stuffing myself full of food the previous night!

Definitely. I am a die-hard black friday shopper. My main store is Kohls- I save like $500 shopping for everyone there. Now they are opening on Thanksgiving so I am forced to go on Thanksgiving before everything is sold out

Nope. I hate shopping around crowds and I'm talking crowds on a busy Saturday afternoon, so I can't imagine how I'd not faint on something like Black Friday. I also look at the ads every year and I never come across anything that I have to have or could not grab at another time for a good price.

No. The only place I may go is Babies R Us to see if there are any good deals. But, I won't do that until later in the day. I'm all about finding deals from the comfort of my home on Cyber Monday!

Ever since I worked in Retail back in my University days, I refuse to be a part of the shopping frenzy that takes hold on Black Friday or Boxing Day. I'm pretty good at hunting out deals and don't mind waiting for items to go on sale - so I never feel like I am missing anything by not going out.

Friday I'll be working then having a Missy & Moomoo Movie Night since DH will be out at a recording gig. I'll have to decide whether I am going to do a Lord of the Rings marathon, or just a bunch of girlie movies that I can't get DH to sit through with me

ps - Moomoo is my cat, see my post about fur babies

Chick Flicks are the best!! Especially when no one else will watch them with you.

No shopping here, but I might take my 6 year old to see Santa and maybe out to the movies to see Frozen.

I get claustrophobic in big crowds and will occasionally have a panic attack, so I've never done the Black Friday thing. I don't have any intention of changing that this year. But there is a really cute pair of boots I want at Belk that will be on sale Thursday night at 8pm for only $20. I plan on seeing if the online Thursday price is the same. If not I may brave one store if DH will drive so I don't have to deal with the parking lot.

Sorry, you couldn't pay me to deal with the crazy crowds on Black Friday. Absolutely no interest in heading out.

For those of you will brave the madness, I salute you! Good luck!

No black friday where I am. But even when I was still in the states it was not my thing.

I will probably brave some after Christmas shopping to get some maternity clothes when I am back in the States. Clothing is more expensive in France and I don't want to break the bank on items I will only wear for a few months.

Heck no. I did when I was a teenager. Always got up at the crack of dawn with some friends and my sister, and we made a fun day of it. I like my sleep too much now for that crap. I'll look around online for deals, though.

I'm headed to Toysrus today since they're giving their rewards members early shopping deals! I used to always brave the Black Friday crowds but now I'm old (26), tired, and don't like long lines lol!

I primarily do it all online but my bf is super into store shopping, and he wants to go on Friday. Although not *** early, but just get some shopping done.
