I have a thirtyone bag (denim cargo purse) with Liam's name personalized on....it stays in the car...will probably just use that one for this baby....I never carry a diaper bag with me...it's always in the car and then just get a little bag to carry in if I need one (church, restaurant etc...)

I was very minimalist last time and probably will be again. I used cloth diapers but only carried around 2-3 fresh dipes at most, a change of clothes for DS, a tiny wipes container and a wet bag to put dirty diapers in. It all added up to the size of a lunch bag. I had friends who carried about a dozen diapers, extra receiving blankets, multiple change of clothes, tons of lotions, toys, etc. I just couldn't do it. I never got stuck out without something, so I think it worked for us.

I have a Timi & leslie diaper bag. I love all the pockets in it. I need for everything to have its place vs. just being thrown in. It's perfect for the 2 I have and I'll easily be able to fit diapers and a change of clothes for baby 3. The only con is that it is kinda bulky. Probably a little big if you only have one.

When I only had dd, I used a large purse and it was perfect.

ETA: I think diaper bags are one of those things that you get what you pay for. Someone gave us a Jeep diaper bag at our baby shower (it's like $15 or $20 at WMart). It lasted maybe 5 uses and was done. The zipper broke and the bottom of it completely frayed. Spend the extra money and get a really good bag/purse. You'll be thankful you did when it's still holding up years later.

Yes, he was at a day care called primrose for 2 years. The first year they gave us a tote and the second it was a tiny (useless!) Little backpack for his spare clothes. The diapers didn't even fit in that one. The wall was filled with identical bags all in a row with name tags so the kids learned where their names were on the wall really quickly.

Johnsgirlsx3--I'm shocked with the coach factory not getting back to you! I did an account for both of my email addresses and was gained access instantaeously. Like literally was browsing within minutes. I would definitely try again, possibly with a different email address? Good luck!

I want a nice purse style diaper bag for sure (perhaps Coach, as long as it's practical as well as sytlish)...that will mean we will need to get a second diaper bag for when my DH takes the baby out without me, but that's ok.

I bought a Coach bag to use as a diaper bag about a year ago, it’s not labeled as a diaper bag but has tons of inside pockets and even a changing pad with it so it should work well. I found it at the Outlet mall and it had additional sale prices so very reasonable priced. Now, not sure if I like the color and thinking about looking into getting a Kate Spade diaper bag...hopefully I’ll find a good deal on one of those.

I have been looking through the spring 2014 thirty one catalog and I think I have a purse picked out that I am going to get for a diaper bag. I carry just what I need to run in to the dr office or a store and I keep a bigger bag in the car all the time with extra stuff just incase we end up being out longer than expected. My boys are 9 and 6 and I still keep a change of clothes in the back of my SUV just incase. That has been a life saver on many occasions. You never know when someone will spill something. Lol

OMG!! Brilliant Idea!! I have no idea why I didn't think of Etsy for a diaper bag, since I've been on Etsy everyday for other items lately!!

Ours does In all the rooms, you have to use the bags they give you. In the infant/toddler rooms it's a tote. Once they hit the Early preschool/Preschool rooms, it's a backpack.

I love that one! I love the red!! Message her and ask if she could possibly make it with a zipper. I love Etsy because often they are happy to customize or make little changes on things like that

OMG! I love that bag. Now I have to find a way to justify a new diaper bag. And then justify it to hubby.
