I had my normal appointment Tuesday morning and at the end the dr offered that I go for an ultrasound, just for fun, prior to my next appointment - of course I said sure.
As I live in one province and see a doctor in another I do my ultrasounds through the hospital so that I don't have to pay out. It just so happened that they had an opening yesterday for me.
Baby boy was being shy, he is waiting for June for his big reveal - all limbs possible, his arms, and legs, were in front of his face, lol. We did get a tiny glimpse of 1/2 his face and could see his nose, an eye and a cubby cheek - we were also told by the tech that he has a lot of hair on the back (we are assuming she meant of the head). His legs were closed tight tight too - so no confirming he is for sure a he, lol.
Even though we didn't get the 'fun shots' above, all of the stuff that truly matters, how he is growing, fluid, placenta, umbilical cord function, heart function, etc. were good. He is also right on track size wise, he is about 3lbs 15oz at 31 weeks - almost 4 pounds...hard to believe how fast he is growing!
He is currently breech - but it is still early, so I'm not too concerned yet.
All in all - a good couple of appointments. I see my doctor next April 30th, so we can go over the ultrasound a bit more then too, if needed.
