After weeks of despair and not knowing what we were going to do, the furniture manager at BRU finally found a lead on the now-discontinued conversion rails for Betsy's convertible crib. He couldn't actually find her official ones, but he tracked down a comparable set that was being sold by a completely different baby store chain. I ordered them and because they're all the way out in NY, the won't get here until early to mid June, but that's alright. I'm just so relieved that we're getting the pieces. I also have to give the BRU furniture a huge shout-out because he went way beyond his regular duties to try and track these rails down for us.
Are these the rails that you use to convert to a twin bed? I didn't know these were discontinued. Our LO is in the toddler bed right now, and we were hoping to convert to a twin in a year or so.
Yep, the manufacturer of the crib that we bought had discontinued the rails (why they did that, I don't know because you can still buy the crib!) I'd look into getting your rails now because these crib manufacturers apparently just discontinue the lines without warning and once the pieces are gone, you can't find them anywhere. We're going to order the rails for Baby boy's crib soon and just keep them in the basement for the next few years.
