Hello all. My name is Jana (30) wife to Chris (27) and mom to Levi (6), Jeran (5), Elijah (3) and Samara (18 mon). I found out about 3 weeks ago that we are expecting and I have been lurking here for about 2 weeks because I lost a baby at the beginning of September. Since I am having more symptoms of being pregnant this time around tender breasts and almost constant nausea I am feeling better about this pregnancy and I thought it might be save to join.

With my last pregnancy I had cholestasis which is a type of liver failure and my little one was induced at 37 weeks to avoid a still birth. I have been told that I will most likely have that again but so far no symptoms so I'm praying that I don't have it again. I have to see my MW every week for non stress tests and after 32 weeks it was twice a week for non stress tests.

This pregnancy wasn't planned but we are so excited and we are hoping for another girl. Regardless of the gender this will be our last. we are due June 11th I think. Since my last period was a MC I'll have to get the pregnancy dated by US. I haven't made an appointment yet and I'm not sure when I will maybe december sometime or I might wait until January. We do very minimal testing since it wouldn't matter to us the out come.

Welcome, congratulations! I am also expecting #5 and I had cholestasis with pregnancy #3. In my case it was probably part of a much larger problem as I also had severe pre-e and HELLP syndrome, and she was born at 30 weeks (she's a very healthy girl now!) The itching was horrendous and I was miserable, could barely sleep or function. I did not have it again during pregnancy #4 and am hopeful to stay clear of it this time, too! I hope you don't have a recurrence!

Hello and WELCOME!

My last cycle was a miscarriage as well. I lost the baby on 9/2 and I am due on 6/15. Apparently the m/c made me ovulate late.

Prayers for a SUPER sticky bean!!

This totally gives me hope that I maybe won't get it this time around. My MW thought I had it with DS#3 but I didn't get it until like 39 weeks with him so I had him at home at 40 weeks 6 days. but last time I got it around 28 weeks.
