How do you explain away morning sickness? My daughter told me today it's ridiculous how often I am sick! Who knows what she is telling her little friends at school. The parents probably think I am always hungover or something lol.

I always told my kids right off the bat...but it wasn't until this time I have actually been throwing up. My three year old just yells "MOMMA'S PUKING AGAIN!!!!"

You can explain it to her when you share it =) It'll make sense to her then.

We told DD this weekend. She asked a bunch of times and I just told her my tummy was sick. She bought that but she's only 3.

Haha, your kids all sound cute. My other kid (stepkid) is 20 years old. He reacted with utter nonchalance when we announced it to him. Now he pops out of his room occasionally to make fun of my baby name ideas. Sigh...

That is the reason I actually had to tell my 6 year old. I was sooooo sick that he was worried he was going to get sick. I figured even if I lost the baby at that point, we would tell him so he would know why I was sad. He was thrilled!

We won't tell our kids until January. Right now, they are pretty oblivious. My son does tell me he wants me to have 2 or 3 babies sometimes. He wants a boy for him and a girl for DSD That said, as far as the morning sickness goes, he's pretty oblivious. He'll walk in while I'm sick and keep talking to me as though I'm doing nothing out of the ordinary. DSD did make a joke about it once, but she hasn't asked about it, so we haven't said anything.

Haven't told our son yet, but since I'm not sick or showing yet, I don't have to go out of my way to hide anything. We'll probably tell him sometime this weekend.

For awhile I would just tell my kids mommy was sick, BUT they are 3 ansd 2 so they just figured oh mommys sick. With you daughter you could just say you have food poisoning or a stomach virus that takes a little while to go away, but that she cant catch it lol.
