You might need call the pharmacy and ask someone. My friend who is a pharmacist is camping so I can't reach her to ask. I think we are supposed to avoid Motrin, but I'm not sure if that is only the first trimester or the whole pregnancy. You might be able to take Percocet because they gave that to me after the incision from the csection amid could take that and nurse. But again, I'm not sure during pregnancy and That would require a script from a doc.
Have you tried the extra strength Tylenol? I don't really know much else in the way of pain relievers. I really hope you get to feeling better soon. I have been there with tooth pain and it is one of the most terrible feelings I have ever experienced!! Especially when the basic pain relievers stop working.
Missing my sweet little boy, RIP Baby Sullivan Parker
I had to get a prescription during my last pregnancy for the pain from my wisdom teeth.. it was horrible. Not much else took the edge off. I don't think anything else over the counter is recommended besides tylenol for pain..
Definitely see a dentist for a real scrip, but unfortunately, nothing OTC is safe except Tylenol, especially ibuprofen ( can prematurely close the ductus arteriosis, cutting off your baby's circulation from the placenta). maybe orajel directly to the site?
