but it's RIT. I only did a couple diapers because I couldn't remember what I've read about RIT. They are in the wash now....so everyone keep their fingers crossed.

I have used RIT dyes in the past for a few clothing items but I don't think they'll stand up to the heavy use of diapers, especially using hot water. I read somewhere that they tend to bleed too. The first few times you wash them I would wash them alone just as a precaution. Hopefully it all turns out great!

the biggest problem that I read about is the bleeding. if they do, I think you can boil them with salt and vinegar to help set the dyes. but yes, I've also heard that they fade quite fast, especially with how often diapers have to be washed.

Yep, that was the one I suggested not to get for diapers. It's okay for if you are dyeing curtains or bedding or something that isn't washed as regularly and with other items, it does tend to bleed especially with hot water washing. And it doesn't give as vivid a color as Dylon. Definitely don't wash anything else in the same load as those you dyed with it for several hot washings or they'll end up tinged.

okies thanks...I guess I was just to impatient, I couldn't find dylon and I went all the way there, I didn't to leave empy handed. OH WELL! I did about 4-5 covers, mostly Rylee's because they're crap anyway and I didn't care if I ruined them. I only did 2 of Parkers. Maybe I'll just try to make sure I use all those ones at one time so I can wash them all at the same time with nothing else.
