So, i finally got to use my cup, and i am soo excited that so far its been great. My biggest amazement is i have WAY less cramps, and abdo pain that i usually get with AF. Actually i have NONE!

But i have a couple questions. Right now, i am just getting over a cold, and i have a lingering dry cough. Maybe a bit TMI, but when i cough it seems like i push the cup down, and then i can feel it there. I'm convinced its only because i have this cough that its coming down like that. Has anyone had any experience with anything like that?

Also, another bit of TMI......when you empty the cup, do you always get 'stuff' on your hands? Right now, maybe its just cuz its still new and i need to practice more and more to get it down, but i get 'stuff' all over my hands everytime i empty it. Is this how it should be? Is there a way i can do it cleaner? I have been careful while removing it, to not spill, but it doesn't seem to be making a difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, coughing or sneezing does that with mine too, it's a bit annoying, but a little wiggle with some kegel action usually fixes it
I am not a Diva newbie and I do still occasionally get a little blood on my fingers - depends how heavy I am, or how long since I emptied - but it's not so messy that I can't sufficiently wipe on some TP to get my jeans back on (of course I do wash my hands thoroughly after getting my jeans on ) Usually though, no mess. Practice makes perfect!
The way I take it out is, in a squat position, pinch the base to release suction, and twist as I slowly draw it out. Then I do a kegel clench while I empty and rinse it, and usually don't have any mess.
You'll get the hang of it!
