Ok all this detergent talk has me thinking of switching to tide I used to use Tide F&C foryears, but stopped after my towels would constantly stink I've been using All small and mighty F&C, but now have learned that's not very good either Been using rocking green f&c on diapers, but got the stinks....So all you tide users...powder or liquid? I have a fl he washer, and other than diaper laundry I wash my clothes on cold/cold or warm/cold.

I really think it's just personal preference. If you do a search on "tide powder liquid" you'll find this question comes up regularly and there is no clear winner between the two I personally have used both with equal success, but prefer the powder, because I find it less messy to measure out and cheaper per load.

I have heard that powder is cheaper. I use liquid. It's what I used before on my clothes and didn't feel the need to do anything different. Works fine for me

thanks ladies, I was concerned the powder might not disolve completely in the cold washes...I went ahead and bought the liquid, although I thought I got regular scent I ended up with breezy something...grrr annoyed with myself.

I actually WANTED the powder. But if you read the side of the box, it' snot recommended for front loaders (at least the "original" isn't). So I got the liquid instead.
