I've only been cloth diapering for about a month now and I am still having issues with getting my son's diapers clean.

I started off with Rockin' Green. Well I would ALWAYS get stains after every wash. He also developed rashes from it.

So I switch to Tide. It was wonderful. No stains at all and they actually smelled clean! But now maybe two weeks in, my diapers are smelling like urine....especially the Rumparooz.

I've tried adding more soap, I've tried adding more Oxyclean...and it's not working. I have been throwing in a soaked bathtowel to make the load heavier (I have an HE washer) and that hasn't worked. I just tried adding more wet towels to see if that makes a difference since maybe there just wasn't enough water getting in there, so we will see in a little bit if that worked.

I am just getting very frustrated.

Does anyone have any other suggestions to try?

I would strip the diapers with RLR to get them completely clean and free of any buildup. From there I would try using regular Tide powder, the powder rinses cleaner than the liquid. If you're using a frontloading HE washer, you may need to add more rinses (or an entire wash cycle minus detergent) in order to be sure your diapers are rinsing completely clean.
