Hi everyone! I am new to cloth diapering and I have finally got DH on board with it!! I was wondering if any of you ladies knew about making inserts and wipes. What sort of fabric can I use and where can I get it? I have a Walmart, JoAnn's and a Handcock Fabrics in my area. Thanks in advance! Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hi! I'm Brenda and just started clothing myself. I don't know anything about making inserts and wipes, but the ladies here are wonderful and will give you great information

to the world of cding!

Kelli (kellilee) is our resident seamstress. She can help you with all of that. If you search a lot of the earlier posts, she has given gobs of info on here.

btw, your daughter was born on my anniversary.

for inserts, I usually use terry and flannel (from joanns or walmart, Hancock has some cute flannel prints too). But you can use lots of other fabrics also, like Velour.

And for wipes, pretty much any fabric you want. The ones I made for Val were microsuede on one side and plain cotton on the other. But anything works. You just want something that will absorb some water/solution.

Any other questions? I'm happy to help!

Congrats on getting DH on board! That seems to be one of the harder things to do
