it hasn't come yet..it isn't until the summer. but to celebrate alot of gourps have picnics or "walks". last year my group did a walk/picnic and we had 150 people! it was such a great turn out.

so make sure to check in on the la leche league website to see when a group near you has registered and set up an event! it was ooo much fun last year. i attended one and ran the raffle for the other.

also, kelli i thought this was a great chance for you! i know at our event we had vendors, they could be homebased or corporate based, it didn't matter and they could rent a space at the walk for $25 (which was really a donation) or they could donate a raffle item to the raffle and that would pay for their space rental! that would be great keke, if you wanted to make a few of your things and have them on display or buy and then take orders as well. the 2 girls i know that make slings, they did that last year. even mamas that aren't "cloth diapering" would eat your stuff up!! just a thought

that looks cool. There isn't anything near me registered and I don't know if I have what it takes to get one organized...

We have an "arts fair" here every summer, and I've thought about making and selling some stuff there, but it would be a LOT of work (I'd have to have quite a lot of stuff made) and I'm not sure how much a booth would cost...

I was going to add that Portland (and other citys in oregon) have saturday markets and the trn outs are huge!
