I never diapered any other way, so for me it is just like the novelty of BFing, etc wearing off. It is still fun though. I like how I can optimize what I put on her for different situations and change it up sometimes.

Yes, but I still find it fun. I like that I have a big enough stash now I don't have to order stuff becuase I need it--now I can order it becuase I want to try it--if that makes sense.

I chose it mostly to save $ after using sposies on my first son from birth-3. I never was interested in "collecting" sought after prints, just wanted basic diapers that worked. Have tried all different brands, most of them were gently used, or if new they were on sale. I have never paid more than $20 per diaper. So there never really was a novelty for me.

The novelty of CDing in general has worn off, but since we are only just recently switching to all fitteds and wool, there's some novelty there... especially since there's like a whole world of wool and wool terms that I'm only just learning now.

Nope, I love it because I know it's best. I am also in the minority, so I love changing diapers in public so I get comments. I've been at it 10 months and I still love it.

Not in the least. We have been at it for almost 18 months and I still love it. I still love folding them, picking out new ones, and getting pictures of my boys in their cloth. I think I am like Erica...I know it is best and it is uncommon (which I love), so the novelty probably won't wear off!!

No, I haven't been doing it very long either, so I guess it's still all new and cute to me lol

Depends on the day. Some days, I LOVE cloth diapering and want to show off and want some really cute ones. Other days, I just want prefolds and plain covers and no one to say anything to me about it. Maybe I have split personalities?

They were more "novel" I guess when I started because it was a new thing to me (DS1 was a sposie baby). At this point, they're diapers. Don't get me wrong, I love my cloth, but I guess I don't get that giddy over poop-catchers.
I think maybe for me, a bit of the novelty was in the research, trying new things, etc. Now that my stash is pretty happy, my routines are pretty set, etc I think I'm content more than anything else.

it hasn't worn off for me, at all. I'm not really buying anymore diapers, but that's because I've accepted that i now have PLENTY of diapers, and could probably do with selling some, rather than buying more But I still love how cute they are, and finding out about new products on the market
