I stopped CDing my oldest around a year or two. She was the poop queen and it was never just plopable, lol. It was a lot of work, especially with daycare diapers to deal with every night. I'm still going strong with #2 and no plans to stop. We are moving to a new daycare and hopefully all will go well with cloth there. They have agreed to use cloth while she is on the infant side, I'm not sure what will happen once she transitions to the toddler side.

I voted yes because I actually did give it up. I wish I hadn't now. I'm hoping to get my 22 month old back into CD's until he potty trains.

I said yes because at times I have entertained using a combination. And I actually do when I go to my Mom's house (Liam wears sposies cause I am not dealing with the massive poo without a sprayer). But I have never considered giving it up entirely. Or even mostly. I just like having the option of sposies when I go away and CDing would be more complicated than it was worth. But never at home. If that makes any sense at all. I ramble when I am tired...

Went through a really stressful time in december and stopped for almost 2 months. We're only climbing back on the horse now.. and mainly because i didn't want to buy more diapers lol.

Yes! I stopped for a while, restarted, stopped, started.. It was mainly because DD would get these horrible, nasty rashes.. turns out the detergents we used (we tried 3 different kinds..) were causing it. We found one that worked and then I got pregnant. M/s made CD'ing less fun.
Excited to go back though. I miss them. Disposables are so gross!

Yes. I've given up and restarted a bunch of times with my other kids. I always go back to CD's though. I sometimes just get tired of poop and laundry and need a break. I've even given away my entire stash just to start all over again. I've learned my lesson since then.

No, I still love our cloth! The only thing I'm starting to get frustrating with is our night time dipe solution, but I think as long as we take the time to use a wool or fleece cover, we've got it under wraps!

A few times when I've had consistent problems at night time I've thought 'disposables would be so much easier', but I've never gotten to the point I've actually considered going back to disposables.. I love cloth too much

The only problems I've had are with daycare. However I've decided that if they want to keep putting on diapers wrong and have to change his clothes a million times a day-that is their problem.
Once he starts eating solid food and washing becomes more difficult...we'll see

Never! I have a horror of making too much trash. I think I would have nightmares about all the dirty sposies sitting in the landfill, producing methane. I also hate the crinkly papery texture, it just gives me a "yuck" feeling. I had a nightmare once where all the plastic water bottles I had ever used turned into a big sad angry monster and I felt terrible about it. Still get some mild heebie jeebies when I buy one for $3 at the airport or something and toss the bottle later. Yes, I guess I am insane......
