Is the trimness of a diaper important to you????
Would you choose a trimmer less absorbent diaper, over a bulkier more absorbent diaper?

No. I only sort of know what "trimness" means. It seems like maybe it is more important for smaller babies with narrow hips?? I have never seen M have her movement impeded or anything be even a very bulky diaper like a large prefold or Sandys fitted or whatever.
Some diapers that are cut narrower in the front of the crotch seem like they would be nice for her crawling, I will say that. But for some reason the Flips with padfolded flats, which is pretty wide at the crotch, works extremely well too, so I dunno...
Overall I have zero interest in a diaper that is as thin as a sposie!! Fluffy butts are the cutest butts

There are times that I look for our thinnest diapers (under certain jeans for example), so I like to keep a few trim diapers in my stash. Most of the time though, I'm not terribly picky.

I don't care right now... maybe cause she is still so little and I am not having any issues with anything fitting, I am sure I will change my tune when she is 18mo and she looks like a big booty baby in her yoga pants

I'm really not concerned with being trim. DS has no butt so a bulky diaper is what keeps his pants up.

I will be the opposite...I love trim diapers. I don't want my kid's butt to look like a helicopter landing pad
Maybe because I DON'T have skinny kids, the extra bulk makes clothes fit weird. I find I care less about Kieran than I do about Liam, but it still factors in for stuff like onsies. But I want Liam's clothes to fit like they are supposed to and when I buy 3T pants for length, I want them to fit his butt too and when he is wearing Kawaii...they are looking mighty snug. And rolling pants on kids just does not work as it claims to. My kid is always tripping all over them and ripping the hems. Even with Kieran, with him being huge, if I put him in a bulky diaper, he is wearing a 24month onsie. So what am I gonna do when he gets bigger?? Which is pretty much guaranteed to happen, since he is only 4 months old. So I need a trim diaper so he can wear 12 or 18 and have some growing room.
So yeah, trim is important to me. Although I would not buy a really trim diaper that is pointless in absorbancy over one that will actually work. I just experiment to find the trimmest that matches the absorbancy for me.

I usually don't care, though there are a few outfits, especially one-pieces, that just don't fit with her bulkier diapers, so I like having a few trimmer options.

Kaiden doesn't really have a butt (due to his lower mobility) so bulkiness has never been an issue in the rear. I don't care for a bulky front and prefer my bamboo inserts over using the Rearz PF's trifolded as inserts.

It doesn't matter to me although I like trim dipes with certain outfits. I usually use a flip cover with flats.

I love little trim diapers, but not if they leak. Then what is the point? My kids are all petite so their diaper helps hold their clothes up. I hate having to use safety pins on their pants to make them fit. But the little trim diapers look really cute under dresses and with 6 girls, there are a lot of dresses around here.

I *like* to have a trim diaper, but it's not important to me as such... I think a little bulk is just part & parcel of using cloth diapers. If I DO feel the need for a trim diaper, I'll put a Bitti D'Lish on Emmy, but usually it doesn't come into consideration

I am always looking for trimmer (yet still absorbent) diapers. I have a little fatty, and big diapers make him look HUGE!

I used to love the big butt.. but now that he's walking, it makes his clothes fit terribly. i'm drawn to trimmer stuff now.

I like trim diapers, but I wouldn't sacrifice absorbency for trimness.

Sort of. None of my diapers are terribly trim, but I try to avoid super bulky diapers, too. I wish I had video's of Max when he was first walking. He stuck his little behind out, and with the CDs it looked SO big and so funny
Like Ashlee said, I have a big boy already, and I don't want to have to bump up my clothing sizes becuase of a diaper. As long as I can cram the diaper into his pants, though, I won't choose a trimmer diaper over one of my bulkier ones.

I haven't started actually using cloth yet, so my opinion may change, but atm I could care less. I'm not expecting cloth to fit like a disposable, and I expect some bulk. As long as I can find clothing that fits over the fluff, I don't care. I would rather have the diaper work well and be a bit bulky than be worried about how it looks or fits under everything and possibly leaks.
