As long as the size is similar, go for it! If an insert is too small for a diaper, it may shift around, but if an insert is too big, it can bunch up or end up popping out of the pocket. As long as it fits in the diaper, any brand is fine.

Kawaii inserts are all one size and don't even fit well in the kawaii diapers..As far as Im aware they are the biggest insert you'll probably find for any pocket..That being said I had 15 kawaiis..most of them delaminated in the dryer after one washing..I have 2 left that are fine that i use for night..Ive not had a leak in these two..they are bulky because you do have to fold the insert for a smaller baby..

Yep. I don't use the inserts that came with a few of my diapers. They are microfiber and with hard water, we get mineral buildup. I stuff everything with prefolds. They hold tons and dry fast.

Yep! I've replaced some inserts with other inserts I like better, too. Although, I'm usually pretty silly and make sure that I keep the same inserts with the same diaper.

Thankfully yes. I have about 12 different brands of pockets and inserts. If you couldn't interchange them I'd be up until midnight every day figuring out what diaper went with what insert!

Just make sure the insert isn't sticking out of the pocket. If it's too long, fold the end over or else you will end up with a wet mess. Same goes for inserts that are too small if you have a heavy wetter. <----- speaking from experience. lol

I'm a tad bit OCD and I usually keep the insert with the diaper it came with. IMO the fit is better, but I don't think it's something you HAVE to do.

Sure! I actually got rid of some of the inserts that came with the diapers and put it something I like better. Shifting is the biggest problem with insert swapping...but I just make sure they fit well and it eliminates the issue.

I like having a few options, so I can customize what absorbancy/material I want.

lol almost all the inserts i have are not the ones my diapers came with. I'm not a big microfiber fan.
