Ugh, I can't find a wetbag that doesn't leak through after one day!!

I use a FB Hanging Diaper Pail (ie open wetbag) next to the changing table for pee dipes..that is fine. But I have a different one in the bathroom where I rinse the poo dipes that i hang in the shower. I used to have a Rumparooz wetbag, which was fine for about 6 months and then leaked. Now I have a large PlanetWise zippered wetbag, two of them, which - no joke - started leaking the 2nd time I used them. I do wash and dry them in the machines with my diapers, but the 2ND TIME I USE THEM?! GRR! The whole outside of the bag is wet and stinky.

I am thinking I need a better bag and a trash can or something.

What do you guys use? And how long do they last? And do you dry them in the machine??

I have two that I got from Cotton Babies that have held up for about 3 years now. I wash and dry them with the diapers (dry on low 99% of the time). We use them in the pail only, though, but when I take it out to wash the diapers, there's never a leak. When I rinse the diapers with the diaper sprayer, I squeeze them out really good and/or I put them in a plastic disposable bag and then store them in the pail in the bedroom.

Hmm..I think mine is mommy's touch and Ive used it as a hanging bag and in a pail and never had a leak..I do tend to put soaking diapers in it when I have to spray out the poo too..I wash it with my diapers and hang it dry with my covers..

I just use a bag I made out of fleece, pillowcase style that fits the wicker pail we use. If I have to rinse a diaper so that it's sopping wet, I hang it over the edge of the liner-covered-pail and let it dry out a bit before dumping it in with the rest of the dirties. It only leaks thru the fleece if the diapers are REALLY wet.

My planetwise zipper bags are a nightmare! They leak sooo bad. I just bought their pail liner hoping it will last longer.

i hang all pul to dry now. (not sure the dryer was the issue or not)

After just TWO uses?? I would be contacting customer service on those. That would make me so mad!

I have planet wise hanging wet/dry bags and have been using them for over 8 months with no issues at all. I even put sopping wet dipes in there sometimes with no problem. And I always dry them in the dryer on high.

I did have a different brand of wet bags...wahmies I think. And they sucked. They started leaking and the zippers started popping out around the second or third month.

I don't have any advice for you b/c I haven't used mine yet (Grovia wet bag/Planet Wise hanging pail liners). I hope you find something that works for you.

I agree about contacting customer service about your PW wet bags, they shouldn't leak after just one use!! Not cool!

I have 2 Planetwise and they are great. I've never had a leak, but I also only toss the diapers in and don't do a rinse or anything first.
Maybe contact the company and get your money back.
