I'm babysitting a 10 month old little girl this weekend (and her 4 year old sister) and I can't stand the thought of putting her in sposies. I have plenty of cloth, so I have been using them on her.
Would you do the same?

Hmmm,
I guess if the mom doesn't mind. But I would probably check with her first just incase shes freaked out by sharing cloth diapers for some reason.

Probably not. DH is a freak about germs, so he'd probably have a fit. Maybe if it were family......

I would but not if they had a rash and I was doing a natural laundry routine. Since I do the sanitary bleach washes, I would definitely do it!

As long as the mother didn't mind, I would have no problem doing that. I plan on using them on multiple foster babies, so I don't how it is much different.

Haha, I didn't even think to ask the mom. She's my best friend's daughter and calls me Aunt Rachel. I mean, I changed her diapers when she was younger, so I just did it. I did send her a picture and told her I was saving her some diapers. She was cool with it.

I don't think I would want to share diapers with someone else's kid.

I don't see an issue. Some of my CD are used when I bought them.

I don't see how another child wearing your stash is any different than buying used diapers. Or used clothes or shoes or ..........

yep we do hand me down stuff here. I've never shared diapers, but I don't see how it's different.

I've done that just once or twice on occasion. I just washed them separately and thoroughly.

Wouldn't bother me. In fact, a friend was here Friday and ran out of diapers. I just put cloth on her because that's what I had. The mom was more grateful for a diaper than she cared whether it was cloth or sposie.

I don't know if I would in that instance. I don't mind changing other kids in sposies. If her mom had sent them, I probably would have used them. I have no problem sharing, but I just don't think it would have occured to me. If someone did that to Max, I might have been frustrated, just because he's allergic to so many materials/detergents, he would have more risk of getting a bad rash that way.
That said, sharing CDs doesn't phase me in the least. Most of mine are used anyway. If I had a friend coming in from out of town, I'd definitely offer to share my stash so that they didn't have to bother packing diapers.

I'm not sure I would have done it, if it hadn't been my BFF's granddaughter.
