I am so sorry that I have not formally introduced myself!!
My name is Lisa and I live in southern NH. I have a 8 year old daughter, Ava, with significant special needs. She is diapered, does not talk, walk, crawl, eat by mouth (tube fed), epileptic, etc, etc. We have no ultimate diagnosis yet. We just traveled down to Atlanta by car the first week of May and she had some testing done to hopefully get a diagnosis. She had muscle biopsy, skin biopsy, spinal tap, urine and bloodwork done. I am also Mom to 9 month old twins, Desmond and Jillian. They (so far) show no signs of having what their big sister has.
Because of the craziness of my life, I get on here sporadically. I usually do 'drive by's' from my phone, rarely get on the computer.
I am still using disposable diapers right now, but once my shipment of Sunbabies comes in, along with some Alvas, I will be going 100% cloth for the twins. I will eventually switch Ava over to cloth.
Hi Lisa! I can't believe the twins are 9 months old! I know you from somewhere, maybe TTCAL/PAL? I remember you finding out you were expecting twins
Welcome and I hope your transition to cloth goes smoothly and I hope you find a good cloth solution for Ava, I know there are diaper makers out there who specialize in big kids with special needs and even adults!
welcome! i hope the doctors can give you some answers. Did you go to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta? I live in ATL and my son was there when he was a newborn for a short time, I can not say enough good things about them.
Your 3 little ones are adorable!
I just wanted to mention if you are looking for youth and adult size diapers there is a brand called Snap-EZ that i have heard great things about. I havent tried them personally but i thought id pass on the link Reusable Diapers Shopping Snap-EZ
