Which diapers/fabric sprays off easily?
I can't wait until Nattie is through the peanut butter poop stage, but until then, I'm spending too much time spraying diapers.

I use disposable liners on Desmond. He also has peanut butter poop. It is SO much easier using the liner. I put one on around the time of say he poops. He still goes twice a day. I use them on Jillian too but not because I have to. She poops rabbit poops lol.

Microfleece is MUCH preferable to suedecloth.

Liam STILL has 80% peanut butter poo. Drives me BONKERS! He went thru a stage where it got a little better, and then we regressed again. It's so gross.

But I will say, I HATE spraying off Flip inserts, the suedecloth takes way too much time. I find of all my materials, the microfleece is the easiest to spray. I also try to soak them face down for 10 minutes or so before spraying and it is so much easier. I have taken to using microfleece liners even on my suedecloth and it is making my life so much better. Otherwise, I would be in the bathroom spraying diapers all.flipping.day!!

I always go to padfolded birdseye flats in Flips when she is due for a poop but not going on the potty. The flat is SUPER easy to get poo off and the inner PUL of the Flip is not bad either. Any liner or large doubler on top can make it easier too, unless it is a really big, really sticky one.

My DD had the worst peanut butter poop for MONTHS and MONTHS because she didn't take to solids very well ... still hates food *grumble* *grumble*. We used prefolds and covers pretty much exclusively until she was about a year old and they're pretty easy to spray. Now when she has the occasional soft poo and doesn't use the potty, I find that her Sunbabies are just annoying to spray out.

I swear, Natalie poops then must jump up and down on her butt, because no matter what I use, the poop is squished into the fibers and won't spray off. I'm sure that was tmi but I spend as much time spraying diapers as actually washing them.

OK, so this is definitely a little graphic ...

The reason you spray is to remove chunks that aren't easily washed away. There was one time I didn't have access to a sprayer and reaped the consequences of just letting things take their course. Let's just say it involved fishing beans out of a washing machine.

Anyway, so long as you're getting the majority of the bulk, you're fine. There's no need to get the diapers completely clean. Your washer will take care of that for you.

Yah, I know that, but it's the consistency of peanut butter and spraying it just makes a Sprat pattern in it. I'm just waiting for the day it peels off, or just plops off. I don't remember spraying this much with my other kids.
