Has anyone used OS pockets for a nb? I want to start using cloth as soon as this lo gets here but Im not sure how it will work out. I'm not a fan of prefolds. Anyone have any experience doing it this way?

I used OS diapers on my son from birth (not exclusively, I also used some homemade covers) and they fit-ish. They were snug around the legs and didn't leak, but they were super bulky and didn't fit under the cord stump. My boy was 7.5 pounds and dropped to 6.5 pounds, but he did (and still does) have chunky thighs.
2 weeks old (after the stump fell off) about 7.5 pounds.
Grovia shell with a gerber flat underneath.
Grovia with the grovia soaker (same age)
Same age, in a Bum Genius pocket with the newborn insert
Thanks to Vicki... for my siggy!

I didn't start cloth until my dd was a month old and most of my pockets were still really big on her. The only diaper I have that I think might possibly work on a newborn is an Oh Katy. It snaps down incredibly small but would still be really bulky.
I'm new to all this myself and I'm sure it depends a lot on what brand you are using, but I sized down the OS pockets I have and they just don't look like they would work for a newborn - they're too bulky and tall (would cover the cord stump).
