So opinions on the sm size and med size Fuzzibunz?

LO is most likely gonna be long and skinny
.
Would the smalls work at the new born stage?

Not likely. I really think the leg openings will be too big. I love the sized FB, but I would start with XS. Keep in mind that resale value is really good on them, so if you buy them, you'll be able to recoup a good chunk of your investment.
