So Peter has been holding and flooding and leaking out of every pocket diaper I put on him. I just ordered some cotton fitteds and am hoping desperately that they'll be better. WDYT? Are fitteds more absorbent?
in my experience cotton fitteds are not all that absorbent. I guess it depends on the fitted though. The one we have I can stuff with extra layers to make it hold more. Our bamboo fitteds do hold quite a bit, but i still stuff them with extra inserts.
I think it also depends on what pockets you use and what you stuff them with whether the fitteds will be better or no. So far ive found our hemp/cotton blends to be the most absorbent diapers and we use those for overnight for about 12hrs.

I loooove my fitteds. As Nicholas got older too his pockets started leaking so I bought a bunch of kissaluvs fitteds, and I have mother-ease as well. They all work great. With a cover they are leak proof. My favorite cover for my fitteds is the happy hempy, they cover and dont leave any parts sticking out
I love fitteds. I have mostly ME Sandys. Not uber absorbent but great for giving the bum some air while still keeping pee off the floor and couch she is about to outgrow them, sadly, so i can't add doublers or anything. But most fitteds are easy to add doublers to if you find you need more absorbency.
