From what I have seen, people really like it. But I noticed it is a sized pattern. So I could do a S, M, or L. But I would prefer OS...so to make that work with the pattern, wouldn't I just be able to so the size L and then add the rise snaps to make it OS? Or would there be other issues with try to do that?

Hopefully Rebecca/8miraclez sees this. I have a large fattycakes fitted she made me! It fits very much like Motherease Sandys fitteds except narrower through the crotch and a bit lower rise.

There is more to OS than just rise snaps. You have to make sure the pattern fits a small baby's body well at a snapped down rise, I am not at all sure the fattycakes pattern would work well, it is so wide and full coverage in the large size and would probably fit really weird on a small baby with the rise smushed down. It is worth an experiment but I wouldn't count on success. I think the Rita's Rump pocket pattern might work better for making it OS. Or just trace a OS diaper you like and use that as a guide.

Fattycakes is my favorite pattern. It really is meant for sized.

For OS, try either nykibaby or Happy snap OS

I don't like side snapping diapers made one size. There is just too much fabric trying to be wrapped around the sides. I really like the fattycakes for a sized diaper though.

I wouldn't turn a large into a OS, as others have said, it could be way too wide in the crotch...

Thank you ladies. I really like the look of the fattycakes so I will probably try it out even though I prefer OS. I like the nykibaby for OS, thank you again ladies! :-)
