Sean is 2.5 months and I recently bought some hemp and bamboo doublers for nighttime. Since using them I have noticed a bit of red just on his penis and scrotum. Could this be a reaction to the doublers even though they are stuffed in the pockets so they aren't directly on his skin? I'd think if it was a reaction to the doublers it would be all over, though.

I don't see how it could be a reaction to the doublers since they aren't touching him. The only thing I can think of is if you have them on top instead of underneath a regular microfiber insert, they could not be absorbing the pee as fast as he's used to and so it could be a wetness reaction. Usually you want the fast absorber on top to pull wetness away faster and the slow absorber underneath. Hemp absorbs the slowest and also holds the most, then cotton and bamboo, and microfiber is like a sponge that absorbs really fast and also releases it easily under pressure. Hope that helps!

I don't have the microfiber insert on top. That makes sense, though. I'll try doing that and see if it helps!

I tried putting the microfiber on top and it helped! His rash is better. Thanks!
