Realistically how many workhorse newborn fitteds and cover should I get for Theodore? I am thinking 32 fitteds and 8 covers. Too much? Not enough? WDYT?

32 diapers and 8 covers sounds perfect. You might only need 4-6 covers since the fitteds should hold in poops well. If I were investing in fitteds and covers though, I'd get small WH and Duo wrap covers. The NB are pretty small and I hear the absorbency gets outgrown quickly quite often. M was a big baby though (8.5 lbs and grew quickly).

Yeah, I am thinking about the small workhorses without snaps and just folding down the rise. This whole newborn diaper thing is driving me NUTS! lol

I'm just seeing that you are naming your new baby Theodore James. That's my oldest's name

I think I had 30 NB diapers, and that was plenty, so 32 will definitely be enough!

Cute name though! And that sounds good to me, I think you could probably get away with less depending on how often you want to wash... also I to think 4-5 cover will be perfect seeing as how fitteds hold the poos better.

Im actually debating on fitteds or aio for my next and if I want to make them myself or not.

In any case. I love Theodore. Meaningful, and lots of great nicknames
