So I just purchased 5 of these, and I need to get them pre-washed.

On the back of the package the directions state to tumble dry the insert and line dry the cover. Well... it is an all in one and the inserts are attached. So can I put the whole thing in the dryer?

I have always dried my sunbabies and alvababies covers in the dryer... hope I can with these too because I don't have a clothes line.

Anyways, if you use these diapers do you dry them in the dryer or hang them?

Every single one of my diapers including covers goes into the dryer for 1 hour on medium. I have a lot of Flip covers and they are all fine. I would not line dry the BGEs, it will take too long with the thick cotton. But just try to use a moderate drying temp.

I dry my BG Elementals in the dryer. They take about 1 hour + 20 minutes on medium to dry for me. Did you get the new version of the Elementals?

I'm not really sure, I kind of suck at cloth diapering, LOL! My daughter had been in sposies for months until I decided to pick it back up a few weeks ago.

They are BG Elementals Organic. They are super nice! Way nicer than any diapers I have now. How would I tell if they are the new ones?

Don't be afraid to ask questions here about any issues you may have!! It sounds like you had all pockets before, and many people just hate stuffing them. Not every type of cloth diaper works for everyone. I hope you love your BGEs!

The new kind of BGEs have all the cotton inside just attached to the top and bottom, you can see the shiny waterproof side of the PUL underneath it. The old style had a fully attached cotton lining covering the whole inside and then a thicker pad on top of that.

I put all my stuff in the drier and have a good number of BGEs. The BGEs have done great for almost two years now.

we also put our BGE in the dryer on medium with no issues.

My elementals go in the dryer and I haven't had a problem They were my first foray into AIO diapers and I am in love. They are so incredibly trim and absorbent! I hope you like them!
