I've been cloth diapering since April, never had any issues but as of the past 2 weeks my LO keeps having leakage issues. I use pocket diapers OS and use the microfiber liners.. I dry them in the dryer and was maybe wondering if that is the issue and I should buy a bunch more new liners and hang them dry instead? I'm not sure. My LO pees a lot, during naked time she can pee twice in 25 minutes! Should I be looking into a new brand of liners instead of microfiber?
What liners do you mamas use?
What liners can hold more amount of pee?
And is hang drying them better than dry machine them?
Are you drying the pocket in the dryer too? I have a stash of 26 BG 4.0s. I stuff them with DiaperRite prefolds though. I tried the microfiber when we first got them and they leaked. every. time. Especially when she was buckled in the car seat.
That being said...a little over a quarter of my BGs are now delaminated because I've been drying them in the dryer. It's okay for me because I also have covers and just ordered a few more...I'll be line drying them from now on. We also live near the beach so the delaminated covers will just be used for swim diapers now.
I've never had issues with microfiber. Its what I like best. It might be the pockets or she may need extra absorbency. I throw everything in the drier and its never been an issue. Ive heard of brands that the covers should be line dried to prevent leaks. I'd try a doubler and check her more often for diaper changes. She could be a heavy wetter.
