We have decided to cloth diaper our new baby, due just about any day. My older DD has been potty trained since 2 but still wets occasionally at night. So, she wears a pull up. I bought some cheap pull ups and she had a bad reaction to them. That day, I found some cloth overnight pull up type cloth diapers from Mother of Eden. They were a bit expensive, but are AWESOME. She has wet a few times and no leaks. DH comes down stairs one morning, holding one that she wet and stated "These are AWESOME. We should have gotten these a long time ago!"

YAY!!!

And, I've heard it will help her potty train easier!
Most daycares around here suggest cloth if you want to potty train.
Something about being able to feel the moisture better.

(Another great trick for getting dh on board with the new baby is to go with a sports pattern or soome other pattern (super heroes) that he likes!)

Congrats and welcome to cotton mama!

DH has been supportive from the beginning with the cloth. DD is potty trained during the day with only 2-3 wet nights a week. She trained herself and was actually the first in her class at preschool to potty train. We really had nothing to do with it as we were on a car trip at the time and we didn't WANT her to potty train during that!! Not a lot of potties in west Texas! LOL!! I think DH is really looking forward to it. He really likes to change diapers as he thinks that is something he can do as I breastfeed... I can't wait! We do have a few newborn disposables to get through before switching to cloth though... they were gifts.
