So DH has been taking DD to work for the last couple of days since he has been interviewing. I guess she needed a change in the middle of an interview, so he let one of his waitresses change her. She has only ever used sposies. The cloth confuses her and another waitress come over to help. So later we decide to go out to dinner. I see my brother's in-laws-2b and go over to say hi. Partway through it feels like she is leaking pee. Ugh, but no biggie. Get home, and she needs a bath! They hadn't done it tight enough, cause they thought they'd hurt her (it was a Cubbies with the s-hooks) so she'd leaked poo all down her leg, the outside of her diaper, then I had had to take the pants off! TWO of them couldn't figure it out! Grrr. Oh, well. They were just trying to be nice.

I know what you mean! I remember when my MIL took a then 6 month old or so Devin from me to change his diaper and the look of WTH? on her face when she saw he was wearing a cloth diaper. She didn't know what to do either. It's not difficult, good grief!

I still get the WTH look from my DH about the CD, especially, when she pooped in her diaper, and he has to change it.

Yeah, whenever we have a doctor's appt for Seamus and he's wearing a Cubbie, the doctors look incredibly confused when they go to take off or put on his diaper, lol. One of the doctors put it on super loose... I had to redo it when we got home. Luckily no leaks though. Sorry to hear about the poop leak! Those are the worst kind!

That is so familiar to me. My mother, FIL, and MIL all have a really hard time putting the diapers on tight enough. Even when it's an aplix kind, but it's much worse when it's snap (I never left the s-hook ones for them to use). The last time my IL's were watching the boys overnight I had to leave very clear directions on how to use the diapers. I even snapped the nighttime diaper to the snaps that it needed to be when on Ed and wrote that out, so that they would put it on tight enough.

Tami, that is really sad when you need to leave written instructions on how to put on a DIAPER! At least, the snap or aplix. I guess I could understand a prefold or a one-size.
