It seems like I'm one of the few but I don't say gender. Wondering what the actual stats are from this board.

I know technically gender is the social construct, but most people use them interchangeably in this context, so I use both. It's not a big deal to me

I say sex because I consider the 'gender' to be tied to so many other things that wont occur until later in life.
i.e.: I resented the challenges I have faced professionally due to gender bias associated with prior administrative positions like assuming because you are an admin, making the coffee is your job - what if you don't drink coffee? The coffee pot should be the responsibility of the coffee drinkers, not an admin, because the position is seen as secretarial, traditionally female, and they make the "work wives" of the office.
End rant.
