Is today. I see mY OB at 1 for blood work and MFM at 2 for NT and consult I guess. I didn't sleep well last night because I was worried and anxious. Just keep me in you our thoughts or prayers during that time that all is normal and looks well. I'll update again here when I get done. They said it could take 2 hrs at the MFM max. I'm just glad to be 13 weeks now
Ashley with both of us being Di/Di we are on the low end of High risk. Some doctors don't send their pts to the MFM if they are di/di. Mine just wanted me established in safe I needed more care. I went for a NT which my OB office can't do and since the blood work is less reliable for twins I choose this route. I will go back at 17-18 weeks for anatomy scan but if all looks great those are the only visits. She just went over risks of twins ect and that was it.
My NT scan was normal so I didn't need blood work. Their US tech is much more "skilled" and fancier us machine than at my OB.
Babies looked great :-). They were actually measuring ahead of schedule. Only 2 days apart. One 13.4 other 13.2. Now to start spreading the word!
You know, now that yall mention that.... my obgyn said that for my 20 week scan I was going to be sent somewhere else to have it done? I didn't really ask about it and just said okay, but that could be part of it. I thought it was a little weird since they have an ultrasound machine there.
Thanks Kiliki for the siggie!
