I was told a must for C-section hospital bags are Gas -X and Stool softeners what do you all think are these a must or No?

Here is my updated list (now I actually have to start putting things together LOL!)

My duffel:
Loose dress to go home in post birthing gowns 2X
underwear 3X
toiletries
comb
Nursing bra 2X
Bathrobe
Flip flops
glasses
Socks with grip 2X
water bottles 4X (el paso tap water is the grossest ever... everyone drinks bottled water here unless you are brave like DH lol)
big towel
hard candies sugar free
small fan
folder of paperwork
face wipes
camera with charger
Nursing pads (just the samples I have)
Washcloth
medicine bag (I take medication for stuff so have to bring those!)

The large Diaper bag:
wet bag baby Socks 3X
summer hat
blankets/swaddlers 4X
Going home outfit nb
Going home outfit 3m
burp cloth
Sleeper/playsuit NB 2X
Sleeper/playsuit 3m 2x
thank you card for nurses
baby nail clippers
diapers/wipes (just a few of the samples I have)
Baby book
diaper cream (sample sizes)
hand sanitizer


Loose items/last minute grabs:
nursing pillow
CPAP machine (I have sleep apnea)
pillows 2X
cell phone and charger
Wallet
Kindle
Car seat
snacks

If your hospital doesn't provide stool softeners (which I think they would) BRING THEM, lol. Gas-x Im not sure on, as I never used it, the pain you get from surgery probably can't be helped with that, but if you're gassy by nature, Id say yeah, bring it, just be sure to tell the hospital IF you take something they didn't give you.

Bought myself a few things from 31 during a big sale they had, and it finally came yesterday! This is the bag I'll be taking to the hospital, I took it from a weird angle, so it's hard to tell size, but it's a good sized bag, should hold all my goodies.

I hate packing, I hate clutter, I'm usually not in the hospital much more than 24hrs anyway. I'll probably just throw in something to wear home for me and the baby, my toothbrush because I hate the hospital ones, and my ipad. And when I say throw in, I mean 5 minutes before I leave for the hospital.

FYI - Walgreens has stool softener buy one get one free this weeks! Stuff is spendy!! Might wanna grab it now!

Wow you are a lot more organized then me But I have not started packing my hospital bag yet, Should get moving though I am a procrastinator. This in regards to WannaBEMommaMe post
