So exactly a month ago I had a total freakout because I had some issues with vision and being out of breath. So when I went in for a blood pressure check the midwives noticed my iron level had dropped. The put me on an iron supplement 35g a day. About a week later my energy started coming back and I wasn't so moody. Well after the past weekend I started feeling weak, tired, nauseas, my vision kept feeling blurred and I constantly felt like I was struggling to breath. So I called the MW freaking a little and they wanted to run my iron again. Turns out it's plummeted even further since I started the supplement. Now they have me up at 105g starting today.
It's been hell. I went from loving pregnancy to this irritable, weepy and sore mess. I feel sick all the time. I'm pretty in tune with my body so when something is wrong or off I know it and for how calm I've been it's been a whole new level of scary when it comes to worrying about baby girl.

I understand I had a similiar thing happen to me no Energy dizziness then the lack of Iron mine was so low I got a severe flu for 5 weeks because the lack of iron had affected my immune system . They have me on Ferrous gluconate 325 MG. It sucks but we are almost there just do not forget to take them . I was also told to take them with a juice high in Vitamin C it help your system absorb it.
I understand, I've got anemia this time around too. Not too severe, but enough that I was really feeling lethargic and not myself. Definitely agree with making sure you are taking Vit C to help absorb your extra iron and get you feeling better!
