Today my sutures have been hurting more & more. It's odd because they weren't really bothering me until now & I have had some bleeding fr them which had seemed to stop before. Is this a part of the normal healing process or have I overdone it running up & down the stairs? I don't think they are infected but it hurts to sit now & I'm regretting not having really taken the bed part of resting seriously.

Yes, I remember that happening. It probably does mean that you've been up on your feet too much though. As soon as it starts to hurt and bleed you should probably get back to resting. I remember feeling like I could never possibly be the same down there with all that swelling and such but it does eventually heal up. Just make sure to not over do it. Enjoy your new little sweet thing today.

Yes, rest. And are you using witch hazel? It helps with all that stuff down there. I just bought a pack of cheap maxi pads, cut them into thirds and poured on witch hazel and kept them refrigerated till I needed them. Aaaah.

I have some tucs pads the hospital gave but having something always wet down there makes me feel like I'm chaffing after the initial ahhh wears off.I haven't used ice in a few days bc I soaked some pads in witch hazel & froze them but my midwife warned they leak when thawing & dang if I didn't use the last big ones from the hospital to make them. I always won't hold that!
I am feeling better this morning after laying in bed all night sleeping so I think I will spend as much time laying down today as possible!
