for some insane reason when things don't go my way I seem to take it out on myself immediately. For instance when things whren't going well with the x i lost 100 pounds. Now that he is gone I have gained back 7 but there is a bit of trouble at work. Too many employees not enough hours and I am basically 3rd to last in the door. So I appear to have stopped eating again.
Punishing myself for being a failure to provide parent.
How do I change that kinda thinking?
Its incredible. You know its wrong but you can't stop it anyways. Wonder if its the same deal for bank robbers.
i think we all react to stress differently esp with food - for example when my mom was sick i lost weight - when she died i gained some .... it was all pretty sub-conscious and i'm not really sure how to change it - when i got home i got back on a normal schedule - when i made a conscious effort to do it, not really great or detailed advise but that's all i got. lol.
