(i let the DDC for my daughter know, but want you all to know as well) on tuesday i got some bad news (a little back history: 2 years ago my mom was diagnosed with a rare kind of uterus/enometrial cancer, 6 months after that she died - i, with my sister helped to take care of her in hospice at the end) on tuesday i got the news that I have this same kind of rare uterine/endometrial cell stuff - we did a few biopsies then on tuesday to determain if it is pre-cancer or what stage of cancer i am in. Best case, it is pre-cancer and i will have a few layers of my uterus frozen off and/or a cone biospy removal of the cells and a pap every 3 months for the next two years. My OB agree's whole heartedly that if it is any stage past 0 we will go ahead and do a total hysterectomy. My ob was putting a rush on the biopsies i had and should hopefully hear next Tuesday. In the meantime my DH and I are trying to take this a day at a time and hope it's early. We are super thankful that we have completed our family with the recent birth of Kaylee...so it isn't a hard decision to take it all out if we need to. I did skip my pap last year b/c we were trying to get preggo, getting preggo and had a few miscarriages before we got our keeper baby Kaylee.

Get those pap's ladies!!! Although this cancer is not cervical they are finding it (or the pre-cancer) b/c of the pap (they do test the lower portion of your uterus at a pap)

********* Updated: it's super early (stage 0 is what they call it, a "pre-cancer" cells!! Thanks ladies!! I am still going to have a hysterectomy talk with my OB on the 2nd, This really shook me - and I don't want to worry about it esp if i don't need my uterus. THANK YOU again ladies!

****NEW UPDATE*********** As you can tell from my siggy i am having a hysterectomy in 1 week! I am nervous but excited. I've been having lots of unpleasantness from what's going on (TMI alert as in non stop bleeding like a stuck pig) so i can't wait to have it out and have that stop (its been 4 weeks now ..gsh!) Non stop bleeding was one of the same symptoms my mom had - so it re-assures me even more i'm doing the right thing.
