How do you feel about the Media and ED's?
Do you feel like they have as large of a roll in the growth of eating disorders as people say?
Do you feel the media conveys information about eating disorders appropriately?
Did the media play a roll in your eating disorder?

I honestly do believe that the media is the main reason for such a high number of eating disorders in our world. It's sad that many people see certain images only to have something in their brain tigger - "Hey, I should look like that."
Yet, the media does nothing to counter this.

I've always said that pictures and actresses and such should have a warning label like cigs. "Warning: This image you are viewing has had the crap airbrushed out of them."

However, I don't believe the media had anything to do with my development of an eating disorder. For me, it has been more about the control factor than it has been for my self-image...
