So I just found this board today adn I thought it might be good to pop in once in a while when I am having a hard time.
I am 25 and am pregnant with my fourth little one. I have struggled on and off with my eating issues since I was very young. DH knows and is pretty supportive.
LAtely I have just felt all around down and out. I havent' gained like a large amount of weight or something, but I struggle feeling good about myself while wearing maternity clothes.
Sometimes I find great release in being able to "eat for two" but every now and again, I worry about how I look. ANyways...just wanted to introduce myself before I started popping in and out commenting on ppls threads
Thanks ladies, glad to knwo this place is around for those tough days!
I'm glad your DH is supportive. I know what you mean about trying to feel good in maternity clothes and the worry about how we look after - but i tried to remind myself that once my kiddo's were born, a) it took time to put on and it takes time to get off b) to be brutally honest i knew that i knew how to loose weight, in whatever way i wanted ... so not to stress out about the gain - but it would be up to me to do it healthy for myself and my family.
Try to enjoy your pregnancy and focus on the enjoyable feelings that come with it - especially at 20 weeks .. don't wait till 30 cause we all know it goes down hill from their (swelling etc)
Congrats on your baby boy!
And we're here ANY time - even just for random vents
Welcome to the board and congrats on your pregnancy!
I'm so glad you have a supportive person around you, thats a big help in any situation!
Because alethia always takes the words out of my mouth and says them 100 times better...I will once again say ditto to what she said!
