I am 5 weeks and 2 days today and for the past week I've had morning sickness(all day) and very sore breasts. I've also had mild cramping. Yesterday afternoon the symptoms seemed to have just stopped. I still have mild cramping every now and then. I am a first time mom and I'm not sure this is normal! Can anyone relate or is this not a good sign?!

I'm a first-timer too, so I can't really offer any insight from experience. But from what I've read, the hormonal surges can come and go. I wouldn't read too terribly much into it unless you start having other things happen.

Symptoms ebb and flow with your surges of hormones. I don't have any symptoms other than slightly tender breasts and I'm 9 weeks.

Michelle- You had NO SYMPTOMS? You are LUCKY! They say that it comes and goes… So do not worry… I didn't have any and now… I am sick ALL DAY LONG! So I can relate. Good luck and enjoy the no symptoms while you can!

You're still early so no worries. They say around 6 weeks symptoms become stronger. I just started getting ms and my breasts have stayed tender . Though some days they aren't as tender and I freak .
