and just for fun, whats your most embarassing guilty pleasure band?
i dont know if i have just one favorite, but my most listened to stuff now is anything amanda palmer is involved in, world/inferno friendship society, tub ring, and foxy shazam. i also have a soft spot of 80s pop and 90s alt rock.
my tastes have changed dramatically over the years in that some of my old favs arent in rotation as much anymore, but i still know all the words to every song. shrug!
my guilty pleasure- sclub7. i even watched their tv show back in the day, lol!
Oh SClub7, I remember them. They had that one song that hit it super big for a while.
I occasionally listen to country or classic rock (only because DH is in the car, it isn't my favorite). In the car, I'm much more likely to listen to the news. At home, I'll sometimes put on background music with Pandora. That's nearly always either Christian music (a somewhat strange mix of contemporary and old hymns) or Disney music. Can't help it, I'm a HUGE sucker for Disney music.
Thanks to Bokkechick for the lovely siggie!
Pregnant #1 with 2 Angels in Heaven
@ ashleigh- if you like queen, you should check out foxy shazam-- it's really hard not to see/hear the similarities. their stuff is really catchy, and even harvey's a big fan, believe it or not! two of their better videos:
and buda-- nothing sad *because* it's sappy, or nothing sad because of pregnancy!! because i was listening to something the other day that 1) i've heard a million times before, and 2) does not qualify as a sad song!!! it's upbeat and has an uplifting message (nothing's ever lost forever). and, then i started crying like an idiot. lol also-- you'd get along with my husband!
