The only big discrepancy in sizes was with dd1; she was 6 lbs. 13/14 oz. but she was also 3 weeks early. All of my others have been in the high 8's/low 9's.
I have weekly U/S so I know that these two are coming in just under 5 lbs. a piece (as of last Thursday). The way things look, they'll probably be about 5-6 lbs. at birth. Which is still pretty big considering 1) they'll be early and 2) they're twins.
Using a formula that I found online that claims to be at least as accurate as an ultrasound, it currently says 7lbs 3oz. Since this is my first, I have nothing to compare it to but I was measuring 29cm at 29w6d so she doesn't appear to be big. But my mother had two big babies and they never suspected that they would be big prior to birth. They were just shocked when they weighed them after they were born! I get this mental image of the person weighing them doing a double take, looking from the scale to my mother and back again, lol!
This baby measured two weeks ahead a few weeks ago. I have had three nine pound babies so I am expecting a nine pounder and hoping for seven lol three of the last four have been in a bad position for birth. One posterior nine pounds, one posterior 8 lb and one head turned to the side eight pounds. My eight was in a perfect position and my tiniest one yet 6 lb 1 oz she flew out w one push ;-) dh said u said she's coming and then they were holding a baby and I was thinking where did she come from. She actually stayed asleep lol contractions were still hard, but the pushing was so easy!
I always measure on target and have always gone within a day or two of my due date, since I have 8 weeks to go, I am guessing 8lbs. DD1 was my biggest at 8lbs14oz, that was a shocker!! I am hoping this one isn't that big, I was MISERABLE (and so was my poor belly button) by the end with her.
Mom to DS 11, DD 8, DD 7 and Wyatt born Sept 19!
I'm guessing around 8.5lbs. I've been measuring literally right on track at every appt except for one (where I was 2cm behind). My belly has still never gotten "huge" but I just know that the blessing of a small baby is not in the cards for me. LOL
