To my understanding, you shouldn't necessarily be worried. Lot's of times, you'll only lose part of it (and it could just be discharge) but if it is worrying you, you could always call a nurse!

It's not something to worry about unless there is bleeding also. Plugs can regenerate. If there is no bleeding, I wouldn't worry. If you have bleeding and start contracting... then call your doctor again.

I lost mine a week ago @ 32 weeks. It's scary! But don't stress. I lost a huge amount. ( I think sex brought it on! Bad hubby!) haha. But just relax and unless you start bleeding no need to worry.

Almost there though!

I agree, I have lost bits too! But I see it more as my body getting ready than impending labor. (Not to say it CANT mean that, but.....)

Just lurking from Oct. I'm 32wks and lost part of mine last week. Normally I wouldn't worry but I was contracting/having back pain so I went to get checked. I was 60% effaced and almost 1cm. My midwife told me if I was 34wks they wouldn't even worry about the effacement/dilation. Would definitely call if you have bloody show or increasing contractions.

Nothing to worry about. It happens often and it'll regrow. With DS3 I lost quite a bit at 26 weeks. I lost a chunk this week with this pregnancy for the first time (33 wks).

I agree that it may be your body working towards whats to come. If there is nothing else going on, I would just make sure to mention it at your next appointment.
