Both last night and again right now I've had a series of contractions that were so bad I couldn't talk through them. Last night they kind of petered out and they're already petering out again now. You would think this would make me get in gear and actually pack my bag. But no. I keep having a horrible feeling that I'm going to go to 42 weeks and I've still got a month and a half left. I hate this not knowing thing.

I'll take that! Haha... I just haven't packed because I feel like no matter how well I pack, I'm still going to be unsatisfied and feel unprepared. I don't have extra money to buy all of the 'might-needs' so at least if I just grab stuff on the way.. I'll feel like there was an excuse to not have everything there...haha. Silly logic, but I'm not too worried about it

I had a dream last night and in it I showed up to the hospital without a bag for myself or the baby and I was on the phone with my mom trying to tell her what to pack lol, maybe that's a sign I should put some things together!

I actually made a list the other day of what to pack. I'm missing some stuff on it. And other stuff is very vague, like books and dvd's. I think if I'm actually in labor and on my way to the hospital I won't be good at choosing what dvd's to bring. But I'm getting all stressed now trying to figure out what dvd's to bring. And I like the book I'm reading now, but I'll be done with it soon, so should I stop reading it and save it for the hospital or should I finish it and start a new one? So many ridiculously minor decisions, it freaks me out.

I made a list ages ago but have yet to put everything together. I pretty much have everything (finally found that bathrobe this weekend!) but I just need to pack it. I'm also wondering what books and DVDs to bring... in terms of DVDs, I was thinking comedy since one of my coping mechanisms tends to be humour.

My body hasn't given me any indication so far that it's doing anything to prepare for labour; no Braxton-Hicks contractions, no loosing my mucus plug, baby hasn't dropped yet etc. so I may have lots of time to pack

One of my favorite comedies ever is Anchorman but I don't think I'm going to pack it. I still laugh hysterically every time I see it. The idea of having a contraction and laughing at the same time sounds so funny and painful all at the same time.

All this talk about DVDs is cracking me up. DF and I watched Coneheads the other day. "The birth spasms have begun." It cracks me up just thinking about it.

I haven't packed either. Some of the stuff, I don't think I'll pack until the last minute because I want to use them until I go (like makeup, shampoo, brush, pillow....etc.). Maybe I'll just make a list so I won't forget what needs to go and pack everything else. I'll probably still wait a few weeks though.

Haven't packed and probably won't for another few weeks. I don't even really have any baby stuff! Having a "sprinkle" next weekend. I think after I figure out everything and do some nesting I'll make my bag, or at least make a list of stuff I'll need. I'm having a scheduled csection so hopefully I make it to that date and it will be easy.

I have a feeling that now I'll be thinking about Anchorman in labor whether or not I bring it.
