After all the days I spent in the hospital I finally get to go home, but leaving my girls behind is the hardest thing I have done yet. I'm bawling as I'm writing this. I know they are in great hands but going home when you have delivered without your babies is the worst a mom can go through. I just hope these upcoming weeks go by quickly.

I know how you feel and wish I could say that it gets easier . Keep your chin up. Use this time to heal, they will be home before we know it.

I know. I should take advantage for resting and healing. How are your twins doing? Mine are doing well. Lilian is on 1L NC at 21% and feeding via tube @5ml every 3 hours and Vivian is on 2L at 25% and feeding ml every 3 hours. No events thank goodness.

Even though mine was only for a short time, I know the feeling! So sorry you ladies are having to leave babies in the hospital. I only had to leave my oldest for 2 nights, but oh how hard it was!! Forcing myself to walk out of the hospital that first night was probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.

They are doing well!! They both came off of oxygen quickly. Started on CPAP though, amazing that yours are only on NC!! They are getting tube feeds 41mls every three hours. We are really struggling with that though. Because they were so big (5lbs 4oz and 5lb 11oz) they are trying to keep their weight up but their GI system just isn't handling that amount of formula very well. They just put them on an antibiotic to try to increase their gastric motility. They have taken them off caffeine with no events so far!

I know that this is a hard event, but soon they will be home with you! I love seeing that the twins are doing so well! That way I feel like mine will be too! Good Luck and heal quickly. Are the babies in the same place where you work? Are you close to where they are?
