So my doc thinks it was bh, i asked what to do if it happens again. She said try and rest, its very hard to rest with all the pain. But apparently if it persists i can go get monitored, which doesnt really help either. But at least i will know if anything is wrong.

Anybody having persistent painfulllllll bh!!!!????

I'm not sure, but I think we've had several women post about having painful BH. I'm glad to hear your doc doesn't think it is actual labor, at least, but having painful false labor sounds exhausting.

I have been having contractions off and on since 17 weeks this time around. I am on Procardia as needed and get weekly Progesterone shots. If they persist I sometimes have to go to L&D to get monitored. Sucks but its the way my body works durjng pregnancy I guess.

I see my OB Wednesday for a sonogram, low lying placenta and to check baby's position...so she doesn't even know about mine yet.

I agree I wish they would do more! I'm pretty imobile as I can be with two little kids. My pubic bone pain has me laying down a lot with my feet up as it is. I drink water all day.....seems like we are already doing what we are aupposed to.

I'm afraid of early labor. :-//

Have y'all tried calcium and magnesium? It can help calm all muscle pain including painful Braxton hicks.
