I'm sure it's just stress. Poor baby I feel awful. I have chest pains on a consistent basis and after yesterday (read about in private forum), I was very worried when I woke up in the middle of the night to awful contractions and very little movement from the baby. I drank water, laid on my side, nudged around.... nothing was getting her to respond and I got very worried. Went to L&D and my contractions had slowed and hb was strong, but still very little movement. I slammed a glass of ice water and she went CRAZY. Stayed on the monitors for a little bit and everything evened out. Thankful that the baby is okay. Still feel terrible. She shouldn't have to experience this stress.

Aww I can only imagine how scary. Adrianna never stops moving so the one or two times I haven't noticed non stop movement is very obvious and it starts to worry me..luckilly she won't stay that way longer than a half hour!

That is exactly how this baby is. She's a mover and even if she is asleep... she'll let me know that I made her comfortable if I do certain things and she is VERY consistent about it so when I couldn't get her to move on my own, I was getting very scared. But the ice water at the hospital did the trick. Apparently my refrigerated gatorade wasn't cold enough.

I'm terrible and sneak in a Coke when I want one.... that is probably why she is a nutcase in my belly all the time.

Glad everything is well. Life is stressful ... rub that belly and do lots of TLC for yourself!

Glad everything turned out to be ok. I'm glad you went in to get things checked out! I did the same with my pregnancy with DD. I felt so dumb, but I had a super active baby...so when she suddenly wasn't moving, I HAD to get things checked out!

Hopefully you won't have any more scares like that!

Stress will do it so I recently learned. My girl went SILENT during that whole trip home. Freaked the heck out of me.

Im so glad it was nothing for you to worry about.
